Sally Albrecht, M.A., Owner of A.I.D. Training., Activities and Interventions for People with Dementia and Developmental Disabilities

Sally Albrecht is the owner of A.I.D. Training and has been working with individuals with cognitive impairments since 1984. She has a Master’s Degree in Cognitive Psychology, specifically Applied Cognitive Aging. Sally’s has an Ohio Dept. of Developmental Disabilities Certification and a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology. She also has a Certificate and BS Degree in Public Administration. She is the past President and Secretary of the Gerontology Association at the University of Akron, and she currently serves on the Editorial Board for the American Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias. Sally is also the mother of a 30 year old daughter with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, a genetic disease that is characterized by varying degrees of cognitive impairment, lesions on the skin and organs, seizures and behavioral deficits.
